UK Cosmetic Surgery Competition! 

M.D. Tomas Dolezal is a reputable board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in the field of aesthetic surgery in the Czech Republic as well as abroad.

After obtaining his first qualification in surgery in 1996, Dr. Dolezal worked with the surgery team at the Plastic Surgery Dept. of the Prague Institute of Medical Cosmetic and at the Plastic Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital. In 2001 he obtained his qualification in plastic surgery and was licensed by the Czech Medical Council in this discipline.

He has attended many specialist conventions in the USA, Great Britain, Austria, Germany and Greece. He has also lectured at the World Congress of Plastic Surgery in the USA in 1999 and in Australia in 2003. Dr. Dolezal is co-author of the book "Beauty Surgery" (1999) and he has illustrated a number of specialized publications as well.

M.D. Dolezal is a member of the Plastic Surgery Society, the Aesthetic Surgery Society and the Society for the Use of Lasers in Medicine of the Czech Medical Society, the European Society of Aesthetic Laser Surgery and the International Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

M.D. Roman Kufa is a board certified plastic surgeon with great experience in the field of aesthetic surgery. He is one of the specialist plastic surgeons in the Czech Republic carrying out successful breast reconstructions in women who have lost a breast in connection with an oncologic disease.

He has been engaged in several international internships, including the London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery, Harley Street (UK), Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge (UK), Centre for Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Mount Vernon Hospital (London, UK), Klinik für Plastische chirurgie/Handchirurgie (Gelsenkirchen-Buer), Centre for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Mount Vernon and Watford Hospital (UK) and the London Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (UK).

Dr. Kufa is a member of the J. A. Purkyně Association in the fields of plastic surgery, aesthetic surgery and arm surgery, a member of the Association for Laser Utilization in Medicine, the International Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), Assistant at the First Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague and also an employee at the Medical Institute for Postgraduate Education.

M.D. Josef Kulhanek, MBA is an experienced plastic surgeon certified with the Czech Medical Chamber of Plastic Surgeon.

He has extensive experience in the fields of aesthetic surgery and arm reconstructive surgery.

He is currently practicing at the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic at the Faculty Hospital Na Bulovce in Prague, where he is also engaged as a lecturer (Assistant-Specialist). He is also working as an intern for plastic surgery in Prague’s Na Františku Hospital and as a member of the team of plastic surgeons in Lekarsky dum Praha 7, a private clinic of aesthetic and plastic surgery.

He holds the first and second qualification in surgery and qualification in plastic surgery, licensed by the Czech Medical Council in this discipline.

He has been engaged in several international internships, including the Clinic of Plastic Surgery and the Clinic of Arm Surgery in Götteborg (Sweden) and the Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Bratislava (Slovakia).

M.D. Kulhanek, MBA is a member of the J. A. Purkyně Association in the fields of general surgery, plastic surgery, aesthetic surgery and arm surgery.

M.D. Karel Urban graduated from the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and he has also studied and worked in England and Switzerland.

As well as working for the private Clinics Esthé, he has been working for the Clinic of Plastic Surgery of the Faculty Hospital Na Bulovce, Teaching Hospital, since 1998. He is performing the position of Head Physician of the Clinic of Plastic Surgery in the Faculty Hospital Na Bulovce and is also a lecturer at the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague.

M.D. Urban holds certificates in general surgery and in plastic surgery, as well as certificates for work with lasers, and for applications of injection implants and botulotoxin.

He is a member of the Czech Medical Chamber, the J. A. Purkyně Association in the fields of plastic and aesthetic surgery and the International Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

M.D. Libor Kment graduated from the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. He has completed long-term study visits in many clinics in the Czech Republic and abroad. He studied in the hospitals of the University of California, San Diego in the USA. He has also worked in the hospital of Necikali in Mexico.

The selection procedure is in process, the competition jury will appoint 10 finalists by the middle of March, 5 winners will be announced and confirmed by the end of March the latest.
