Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Blepharoplasty is performed when the eye lid droops or in case of creation of fatty bags under the eyes. Mostly it is a procedure performed under local anesthesia and both eye lids can be operated at the same time, the upper and lower. The extra skin, fat prolapses and sometimes also part of muscle are removed. Blood bruises and swellings often occur, they fade away within 6 months.    more »
