Holistic Beauty Treatment

As is evidenced by the epidemic of heart disease in the West, half the population dies from poor diet and lifestyle. Those of us who are still alive could be healthier and look better.

In short if - up to 50% die from heart disease, surely most of the remaining 50% suffer from side effects of poor circulation and poor nutrition. That is simply assuming a statistical distribution of poor circulation, amongst other things.

Circulation and Beauty.

As you know the function of the blood is to bring nutrition and energy (minerals, antioxidants and glucose) to every cell in the body. Blood also contains the immune system to fight disease. It brings oxygen to every cell in the body. Finally it removes carbon dioxide and toxins from the body.

So is it possible to have poor circulation, and all of the above functioning well below capacity and to still have shiny, healthy hair, and clear skin?

Aging

Usually after 40 years of age people get more wrinkle, hair loss and gray hair. Since time began people have come up with ways to look your longer. Let's have a look at some holistic approaches which may have some value.

Grey Hair and Hair Loss

My researches for solutions to gray hair and hair loss over the years have come up with the following. The Chinese herb Shou Wu is reputed to make hair darker. According to the Chinese this herb enriches the blood by improving the liver and kidney energy which deteriorates with age.

A number of people, and studies have claimed to reverse grey hair through nutrition. The list includes mollasses, brewers yeast, the B vitamin group, PABA and possibly tyrosine or phelyalanine. Wheatgerm has also been mentioned in this regard.

I personally am able to grow hair on my sideburns and above my eyebrows (and throughout the head to some extent) by using either glutamine or arginine in fairly large doses on an empty stomach to induce growth hormone release from the anterior pituitary grand. More recently I have been able to achieve a similar result using the methods in the previous paragraphs. I also use a scalp massage to improve circulation as is practiced in India, and also hanging upside down for a total of half an hour a day. I usually just kneel on a chair and project my head onto the floor.

Wrinkles

Darkening gray hair is quite challenging, although I believe that with constant effort results are possible.

It is my observation that a minority of elderly people have very few wrinkles. It is a fact that large concentrations of vitamins ie. vitamin E, vitamin A vitamin C and niacin can heal damaged skin. Also catechin and anthocyanin found in green tea and red wine are very beneficial. Then are a number herbs like frankincense and gotu kola which are used in skin care.

Toxins

Usually I rant and rave about what people eat that is bad for you, and leave the positives until last. Probably much of the above would be less important if people had a wholesome diet and lifestyle. A short list of things very damaging to health is: processed carbohydrate, unfermented milk protein, processed oils, lack of exercise, anger and stress.
