Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction surgery is performed in patients that have undergone malign disease and the breast had to be removed as a part of the treatment. By the reconstruction procedure it is possible to use own muscle flaps, artificial breast implants or combination of both methods. The surgery under general anesthesia takes 2-6 hours, hospitalization 1-3 weeks, recovery process 2-4 weeks, sport activities are recommended after 3 months.
