Smoothing wrinkles away by using one's own fat 

Plastic and esthetic surgery every day is becoming more and more advanced and also less painful techniques are being used, trough the use of stem grass cells.

Plastic surgery has made huge steps forward following eternal youth myth, and thanks to technological evolution is accomplishing major results with less risks.

One of these techniques is lipofilling, a gentle rejuvenation that uses the grass from liposuction as explained by Doctor Walter Chiara who operates in Milan, San Marino and Moscow (www.walterchiara.ch). One of the problems confronted with this success was the high level of re absorption (up to 50%) due to the fact that transplanted grass from one side of the body to another looses vascularity and has to be revascularize through and this isn´t always easy and natural process. A standard process of doing the implats is using a thin with the use of cannulae for sample and injection to extract the grass which is then injected has shown more progressive and better results. What´s really innovative about using grass stem cells? "As we mentioned before - the surgeon remarks - The transplanted grass meets a re absorption process making it difficult for revascularization. We observed that extracted grass stem cells when mixed with the filing grass from the same patient highly diminishes its re absorbing helping the tevascularization process given by the adipocytes formed by preadipocytes present in the same grass. Lipofilling with stem cells was experimented with success having given excellent results such as: the patients skin got better whether in elasticity and the final rejuvenation effect. This process is very important since it is also used in treament of scars and burns, not forgetting that plastic surgery not only helps to keep us young bud also helps to ease accident scars and the other skin damages".

Sometimes lipofilling does not always have the same results with all patients. Aging skin and different skin types not always anteract the same way, as it differs from one person to another. "Senescence level on the face is fundamental on the area treated -Chiara explains-. In young patients lipofilling with stem cells is certaimly fundamental for skin eutrophication, which is the process of rejuvenating the skin with nutrients and fillings with better results. For example, can be used for oblique areas under the eyes specially those called "tear troughs". While in some patients with skin ptosi like wrinkles under the mounth and on the jaw this is very pronounced in women representing first aging sings. It is recommended doing a micro lifting before doing a lipofilling, which is an invisible incision under the ears with resurgence of the skin over the mandibular side. This is done with local anesthesia outpatient. If the face´s ptosi is pronounced, then we use other techniques such as a complete cervical facial lifting". A lipofilling is not only done on the face, its efficacy is evident also for the neck and the cleavage: grass and stem cells have another important function on enlarging breast.

With lipofilling breasts can be augmented from one measure and a half to the desired one. Once the first implant is stabilized another one can be followed, but the surgeon must know how to recommend the right choice".
