The perfect white smile is not only everybody´s dream, but represents in our society a necessary part of perfect look. One of the possibilities offered by aesthetic stomatology is teeth whitening with the help of plasma lamp and laser.
The are many highly effective techniques of teeth whitening, for example usage of whitening tooth pastes, whitening rubber applicator or whitening strips.
One of the procedures of aesthetic stomatology is whitening in the dental surgery with the help of plasma lamp or laser.
Are you a suitable candidate for teeth whitening with the help of plasma lamp and laser?
If you have already tried different techniques of teeth whitening and do not think that the effect was satisfactory or if you require a radical change of colour tone of your teeth, you can be a suitable candidate for teeth whitening with the help of plasma lamp and laser.
It is necessary to have a clear idea about the teeth colour you want to reach and have realistic expectations.
Whitening can considerably change the colour of your teeth, but if your teeth are very dark, is may not be possible to change them into shining white. The change of few colour tones will however be always evident.
During the consultation, the doctor will consider the colour of your teeth and ask you about expectations concerning teeth whitening.
If you have already undergone teeth whitening in the past, inform your doctor. Tell him/her whether you are allergic to medicaments or other substances.
The doctor can recommend postponing teeth whitening in case of an infectious disease of oral cavity (virus disease, aphthosis, herpes etc.).
Teeth whitening is painless and does not require anesthesia.
If it is necessary to remove tartar before the whitening, ex. using ultrasound, local anesthesia can be used in the form of injection an anesthetic.
The procedure of teeth whitening with the help of plasma lamp and laser
A highly concentrated peroxide (up to 35%) is put on the tooth. It is then activated with a plasma lamp or laser. It accelerates the whitening process, but it is necessary to count with longer time spent in the dental surgery.
The doctor provides you with all the information about following dental care. There are no measures necessary immediately after finishing the plasma lamp or laser whitening.
How long does the effect of teeth whitening with the help of plasma lamp or laser last?
The effect depends on perfect mouth hygiene, type of food you eat, but also smoking and general life style. Only with perfect mouth hygiene it is possible to prevent or slow down the collection of plaque and tartar on your teeth.
After a very individual time period, you may feel dissatisfied with the colour of your teeth again and undergo another teeth whitening.
Cosmetic dentistry is exploding in popularity, with veneers topping the list in dental aesthetic treatment. In the chase of perfectly glistening smiles, people are willing to cross borders and seas to get the best there is in dental veneer treatment. Turkey is one of the leading countries benefiting from medical tourism, more specifically, cosmetic dentistry. Countless people, including celebrities, owe their gorgeous smiles to the dental veneer treatment practiced in Turkey. Let’s take a look at the benefits of getting veneers in Turkey.
Turkey has got the latest technology when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. Production of high-quality dental veneers and dentistry equipment for various dental procedures is key to the provision of top-tier dental services. This is a great advantage to the country and a benefit to you the client as some countries are limited in such resources, and if present, the cost is exorbitant.
The country also boasts of state-of-the-art infrastructure convenient for the accommodation of tourists.
Cosmetic dentistry is known to be very expensive all over the world but the case is different in Turkey. Veneers in Turkey come at a very affordable price without compromise of the quality of the veneers, This is the main reason why medical tourism is a booming business in the Middle East country. Travel and accommodation costs are also affordable compared to the USA or the UK, which also offer cosmetic dentistry.
Additionally, the exchange rate of the US dollar, Euro and Sterling Pound is quite robust compared to the Turkish Lira, which is appealing to foreigners for both treatment and accommodation.
The Turkish Ministry of Health is very strict when it comes to the approval and licensing of clinics and medical experts including dentists. European dentists are equally qualified as well but only take a general approach to cosmetic dentistry unlike dentists in Turkey who are dedicated to their specialties. For this reason, the dentists and professors in the country gain so much experience in their field with specialization which complements the extensive training they undergo.
Due to the high demand for dental veneer treatment, dentists and dental technologists in Turkey use high-quality materials and similar techniques as their colleagues in Europe and America to produce veneers. A compromise in the quality of veneers is bad for business as the market is also flooded with skilled and experienced dentists offering unmatched quality.
While on the quality of veneers, you also get a variety of veneers in Turkey to choose from. You can choose from Composite veneers which are made from the same material used for fillings. There is also the choice of porcelain veneers which are most popular for their natural look and durability. While in Turkey, your dentist will examine your teeth and recommend any of the two veneer options based on your budget and the imperfection you are looking to correct.
Combining the intense training and specialization, experience, and unlimited access to high-tech resources, clients receive the dental veneer treatment of unequaled quality, and for the right price.
Since the number of medical tourists has been on an upward trajectory for years now, most dental clinics offer lucrative packages. These dental veneer package calling cards comprise of;
These packages are calling cards is because what could only afford you dental veneers in your country caters for the same and an unforgettable holiday in Turkey. Get to enjoy the rich gastronomic culture of the Turkish people and leave with a gorgeous smile, for less. How convenient is that?
It’s only in Turkey that you get to end what was initially a medical visit, with a one-of-a-kind experience exploring a highly varied landscape and a rich, interesting culture.
If you suffer from unsightly spaces between teeth, wrong teeth colour or position, multiple fillings in the anterior teeth, you can use one of the most modern solutions – application of dental porcelain veneers to the front of your teeth.
With the help of dental porcelain veneers, it is possible for example to remove unsightly spaces between anterior teeth, wrong teeth colour or position or anomalies in location of anterior teeth. Moreover, they represent solution to aesthetic deficits caused by fractures or erosions of teeth or multiple fillings (dental restoration) in the anterior teeth. If you suffer from any of these problems, you can be a suitable candidate for dental porcelain veneers. If you suffer from some gum diseases, for example untreated periodontitis, it is necessary to treat the problem at first and then it is possible to apply the veneers. If your teeth are very damaged (multiple fillings, defects of enamel), the application of dental crowns might be a better solution. The treatment is very gentle and is not accompanied by any pain. Slight teeth grinding and application of the veneers is performed under local anaesthesia, which ensures you a painless treatment.
If your teeth are healthy, the application of the veneers is done in two phases. First, the dentist grinds the teeth slightly (maximum 0,4 mm) and takes the impression of the teeth. Then he/she will send this impression to the dental laboratory where they will create the veneers. The laboratory manufacturing of veneers usually takes 10 days, for this time you can use temporary veneers usually made of composite resin (a material from which “white fillings” are made). The final veneers will be checked during the second visit and if the functional or aesthetic problems will not come up, they can be permanently stuck. The veneers are polished after the application to make the new look of your teeth perfect.
Present technology (CEREC restorative technique) offers the whole procedure in one visit – the creation of electronic impression of the teeth, modelling of the veneers on the computer and the creation of final work and adhesion
The doctor will provide you with all information concerning the care of porcelain veneers. Most important is perfect mouth hygiene, which removes all plaque. The dentist or dental hygienist will teach you perfect mouth hygiene. It is necessary to be careful while biting at very hard pieces of food.
Today’s aesthetic stomatology disposes of dental porcelain veneers with a very long durability, minimum danger of detachment and colour stability. The life span of porcelain veneers however depends also on care of the teeth and gingiva, on quality of natural teeth and client’s manipulation with the veneers.
Injection implants enable you to augment the lips, to smooth the wrinkles away and to correct the contours of the face. You will be young and beautiful….
Radiesse is formed by particles of calcium hydroxyapatit (CaHa) in the form of gel that is suitable for facial abnormalities correction. CaHa is a natural part of human tissues (teeth, nails). On one side, results are fully evident immediately. On the other side, the substance is completely excreted from the body by a natural pathway over a period of one to two years. The filler is especially used for renewal of the volume of the cheek bones, reduction of deep nasolabial folds, correction of turned-down corners of the mouth, improvement of the contour of the jaws and nose shape, as well as for enlargement of the small or recessive chin.
Temporary (1-2 years).
Approximately 30 minutes.
Radiesse is a injection implant that is very suitable for correcting facial imperfections. It includes calcium hydroxyl apatite particles (CaHa) in gel formula for easier application. CaHa is a natural component of human tissue (teeth and nails) and has been used in medicine for over 25 years. A great advantage of the product is it’s immediately visible and long-lasting effect. Duration of the effect depends on the client’s age, skin type, lifestyle and muscle activity in the application area. For instance in the nasal area the effect may be visible for up to several years. However, over time the substance naturally fully leaves the body.
The treated area may be anaesthezised before treatment, either by using a anaesthetizing cream or injection. Radiesse is then applied directly underneath the skin and a physician gently rubs it into desired shape. Immediately after treatment the treated area may be red, swollen and slightly painful, bruises may rarely appear. However, this is all only temporary. In some cases the desired effect is achieved already after the first treatment, in other cases repeated treatments are required. The treatment may be repeated any time.
The effect is immediately visible. As soon as after two weeks the product cannot be felt in skin. The gel stays where it has been applied, since CaHa particles are stabilised in skin by newly formed collagen. The effect is visible for one to two years, in some cases even longer.
The treatment of dental caries still represents for years a traumatic process for many patients. The fear from the treatment with dental drill leads the patients to avoid the visit at the dental office till it comes to painful complications caused by not treated decay.
Fortunately the same as in other medicine branches happens even in stomatology, the development and application of new technologies. A revolutionary innovation that shows new way of the treatment is the usage of laser in stomatology.
So called tooth drilling is always followed by factors that cause pain, such as vibrations, pressure, warm, that are part of the classic treatment. Laser works as a touchless device so that these factors are eliminated and this enables minimum pain or even no pain during the dental caries treatment.
Another less pleasant treatment is the removal of dental calculus from the visible part of the tooth as well as the parts of teeth that are hidden from the eyes of attending dentist. The principle of deep subgingival tartar removal is based on reaction with the use of fluorescent ray that first takes a look under the gums and then based on this evaluation the tartar is removed by laser.
Laser finds its use in stomatosurgical procedures there, where earlier served the scalpel as the only one device to solve problems. There it reduces the complications that were often followed by these procedures, such as greater soreness, bleeding or swelling. It represents for example facilitated way of erupting wisdom teeth.
Laser helps even to heal such problems like aphthae and herpes. With laser application the time of healing is shortened, by cessation of the wet wound surface, by liquidation of germs and by removal of small nervous endings in the wound that are the starter of these signs.

Healthy and beautiful teeth are not only a part of everybody´s image, but also a necessity in our society. If your teeth are very damaged and unsightly, it is possible to use ceramic crowns or bridges, which give to your teeth new shining beauty.
Ceramic crowns and bridges can substitute damaged or missing teeth. Their biggest advantage? They are almost indistinguishable from the natural teeth.
If you are dissatisfied with the look of your teeth, which are very damaged or even missing, you can be a suitable candidate for ceramic crowns or bridges. It is necessary to have a clear idea about the colour tone of the crown or bridge.
During the consultation, the doctor will consider the condition of your teeth and ask you about your expectation concerning their new look. It is necessary for him to understand precisely your ideas about the colour tone of the crowns.
If your teeth are very damaged, it may be necessary to use other treatments as well, for ex. inserting a dental implant.
The application of dental crowns or bridges is almost painless. During the grinding of your natural teeth, it is possible to use local anesthesia in a form of a little injection to the treated place.
If you have ever experienced an allergy to medicaments, above all to Mezocain, Lidocain etc., do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
First, the doctor grinds the tooth to a conical shape. Then he will polish it and take a print of the ground teeth. A crown or bridge is made in a laboratory according to this print.
During the time between the grinding of your natural teeth and application of a crown or a bridge, the client shall receive a denture to help him with a normal social contacts and food intake.
The crown or bridge is fixed to the tooth with zinc-phosphate cementum. If the tooth is under high stress, it is possible to strengthen it with metal.
The doctor will provide you with all the instructions concerning the care of ceramic crowns. Most important is a perfect mouth hygiene.
Generally, it is possible to say, that the life span of ceramic crowns and bridges is very long, it is however limited by the life span of natural teeth to which is the crown or bridge fixed.
An influence to the life span of ceramic crown or bridge has also the client´s care and caution while using the teeth (ex. biting in a very hard apple)
If you suffer from unsightly hollows between anterior teeth, wrong teeth colour or location, multiple fillings in the anterior teeth, you can use one of the high-tech procedures – sticking ceramic dental plates to your teeth.
Ceramic dental plates are thin ceramic plates, which are stuck directly to teeth. During a normal treatment, six ceramicplates are stuck to incisor and canine teeth of the upper jaw.
If your teeth are healthy, two visits are sufficient to apply the plates.
During the first visit, the doctor makes an print of client´s teeth and grinds them slightly under local anesthesia (max. 0,4 mm).
Before the laboratory finishes the plates (usually 10 days), the client gets a temporary denture. Temporary denture will be removed during the next visit and the correct shape of the plates will be checked. If the function and aesthetics of the plates are satisfactory, they can be applied (stuck permanently).
With the help of ceramic dental plates, it is possible for ex. to correct unsightly hollows between anterior teeth, wrong teeth colour or location, anomalies in location of anterior teeth, aesthetic deficits caused by fractures or erosions of teeth or multiple fillings in the anterior teeth.
If you suffer from some of these problems, you can be a suitable candidate for ceramic dental plates.
If you suffer from some diseases, for example untreated paradontitis, multiple fillings or defects of enamel, the application of ceramic dental plates may be unsuitable for you.
During the first consultation, talk to your doctor about your ideas concerning the look of your teeth. It is important for him to understand what you see as the biggest problem.
The doctor will also choose together with you the right colour tone for your plates.
Before the treatment, he will probably ask you about your general state of health, especially whether you suffer from allergy to some medicaments, for example Mesocain, Lidocain and other substances used in local anesthesia.
The treatment is very gentle and is not accompanied by intensive pain. Slight teeth grinding and application of ceramic dental plates is done under local anesthesia, which guarantees you a painless treatment.
If the client´s teeth are healthy, the application of ceramic dental plates is done in two phases. First, the print of teeth is taken. The teeth are then ground slightly, max. 0,4 mm.
The laboratory manufacturing of plates usually takes 10 days. The client can use temporary denture for this time period.
The plates will be checked during the second visit and if the function and aesthetics of the plates are satisfactory, they can be stuck (adhesion).
The plates are polished after the application to make the new look of your teeth perfect.
The doctor will provide you with all information concerning the care of ceramic plates. Most important is perfect mouth hygiene, which removes all plaque. It is necessary to be careful while biting in very hard pieces of food.
Aesthetic stomatology disposes of ceramic dental plates with a very long life-span, high adhesion and colour stability.
The life span of ceramic dental plates however depends also on care of the teeth and gingiva, on quality of natural teeth and client´s manipulation with the plates.
The quality of our teeth depends on many factors. Its damage or loss represent a frustrating mental factor and a big social disadvantage. Dental implants bring a modern solution of this problem.
Dental implants are artificial substitutes of missing teeth.
This implants are inserted directly to the jaw bone, same as real teeth. They can have shape of a screw or a plate and their basic material is titan.
The bigger part of the implant is fixed in the jaw bone, the lesser part is in the mouth cavity and forms a base for a dental crown or bridge and attachment, which is a special aid for fixing the removable denture.
It is possible to substitute one or two missing teeth with the dental implants. They can be also used to fix the removable denture, which can be removed and put back according to your personal need. Last but not least, with the help of dental implants it is possible to make a bridgework without grinding adjacent teeth.
If you suffer from dental defects and want to improve this situation, you can be a suitable candidate for inserting dental implants. It is necessary to be in a good state of health.
In case of some diseases, for example heavy diabetes or serious defects of coagulation or general treatment of corticoids, the implants are not recommended.
During the first consultation, the doctor shall check the disposition of your teeth, quality of the jaw and uloncus. He will probably ask you about your expectations and estimate the number of implants.
If your bones have been already damaged, he will probably suggest some of the enlarging processes. In case of a infection (cold, virus disease, aphthosis, herpes etc.), he will probably suggest to postpone the operation for a few days.
The minimum age for application of dental implants is 15 years for girls and 16 years for boys. The development of jaw is definitely finished at this age. There is no upper age limit.
Inserting one dental implant takes approximately 30 minutes.
Defect and loose teeth, which can not be used, are removed during the first step of this treatment.
The space between the remaining teeth is filled with the implants. The teeth and implants are connected with a so-called splint bridge, which stabilizes them considerably. This procedure is highly effective in cases of people suffering from paradontitis. The stabilization of teeth this way helps to stretch out their life span, which is then much longer than in case of not connected teeth.
If there are no teeth in the jaw, the client has more possibilities.
If he/she accepts the removable denture, it will be possible to fix this denture with the help of two implants. The denture remains removable but can not get loose unexpectedly during speaking or eating. The same procedure for the upper jaw requires four implants. A removable denture without palate is then fixed to the implants. This denture has one big advantage – it does not stimulate the reflexive points, which cause excessive salivation or vomiting. The denture is fixed to the implants with attachments or so-called snap fasteners.
If you prefer to fix your teeth permanently, it is possible to fix a permanent bridge with the help of some implants.
If the client has lost teeth longer time ago, the volume of the jaw bone can be reduced to such extent, which makes the inserting of the implants impossible. That is why procedures enlarging the bone volume are used.
There are various procedures, ranging from a trivial treatment, which is done together with the implantation, to a complicated procedure requiring total anaesthesia.
In most cases, the maxillary antrum is being opened and filled with a special material. Then the alveolar part of the jaw is strenghtened with the help of transplantation of bone tissue from the hip-bone. This treatment requires general anesthesia and residential treatment.
Postoperative complications depend on the extent of the treatment, but are very gentle anyway.
After first days, which are necessary to heal the wound, it is possible to use a temporary denture, that helps you to eat normally and have normal social contacts.
To make the healing of the implants without complications, a perfect mouth hygiene is necessary. The implants must be cleaned with a toothbrush, interdental brush and dental flos.
It is necessary to prevent a gingiva inflammation. I case of this inflammation, the body can consider the implant to be a foreign element and refuse accepting it.
New shapes of dental crowns are adapted to make the cleaning of the implants as simple as possible.
The doctor will recommend you regular medical checks to minimize the risks connected with the healing process.
Successful healing is an important condition for a long life span of the implant.
Important is also the quality of mouth hygiene, volume of jaw bone and its quality. It is possible to say that after ten years, 85- 90% implants in the upper jaw and 95 % in the lower jaw stay undamaged.
If there were natural teeth in the mouth cavity and these teeth are connected with the implants with a splinter, is the life span limited with the life span of these teeth.
Smoking considerably increases the risk of complications.
Generally, it is possible to say that the bigger the defect in the mouth cavity and the longer time from the teeth loss, the more complicated is the treatment and longer the healing time.
If your teeth are very nice but you desire to improve your beauty even more, you can decorate your teeth with a jewel. Your smile will be doubly impressive.
Dental jewel is a special decoration, for example diamond or another stone, which can be attached to your teeth without consequences.
If you desire to endow your smile with a jewel and the teeth to which the jewel should be attached are healthy, you can be a suitable candidate for this treatment.
It is necessary to consider your expectations and realize that the dental jewel will be a new, significant part of your look. Be prepared that people can stare at you, most of them will appreciate the beauty of your decorated smile, but some of them can consider it too extravagant.
During the consultation with your doctor, you will choose the jewel and the tooth, to which the jewel should be attached. The doctor will check the condition of your tooth, if it is too damaged, he can recommend to attach the jewel to another tooth.
The application of dental jewel is completely painless and does not require any anesthesia.
After a perfect mouth hygiene, the jewel is stuck on the tooth with an adhesive substance, similar to the substance used to fix the retainer. This process does not damage the enamel, which is a big advantage.
You will probably need few hours to get used to the small jewel in the mouth.
The doctor provides you with all instructions concerning the care of dental jewels. Most important is perfect mouth hygiene
The dental jewel is attached to the tooth with a substance, which does not damage the enamel, it is therefore possible to remove it or change it without consequences.
The dental jewel can last a relatively long time, it is however limited by the stress put on the decorated tooth and dental care. If the jewel gets loose unexpectedly, it is possible to reattach it without consequences.
