Vera Derflova, M.D. 

She graduated from the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University, Prague in 1992. Afterwards she worked at the Clinic of Dermatology Na Bulovce Teaching Hospital where she was preparing for the certificate in dermatovenerology of the 1st degree, which she successfully completed in 1995. In the course of preparation for the 1st certificate, she concentrated on the vein problems connected with the field of flebology (diagnostics and treatment of varicose veins and symptoms of chronic vein insufficiency, with special focus on sclerotherapy), lymphology (diagnostics and treatment of lymphatic swellings of various origin), and proctology (diagnostics and treatment of haemorrhoids and difficulties connected with them).

After completing the certificate of the 1st degree she worked in the Centers of Dermatological Angiology in Prague and Říčany near Prague, where she devoted her time to the above mentioned medical fields. In 1998 she successfully completed the certificate of the 2nd degree in dermatovenerology. Until the middle of 2003 she worked in above mentioned places, but since autumn 2003, she has been working privately in several places in Prague, in addition to her work in the Center of Laser Dermatology and Cosmetics - Esthé.
