Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Gress
Dr. Gress is a member of many national and international societies for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (see “memberships”). He is an expert in plastic reconstructive surgery and specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, the female breast and in female genital surgery.
Dr. Gress runs his own clinic for plastic surgery in Munich since 2001. He built a strong proficiency in aesthetic surgery of the face, especially facelifts as well as eyelid- and nose surgery. He refined his skills in these areas and in the aesthetic surgery of the female breast and female genital area while practising in renowned clinics in Dallas (Sam Hamra, John Tebbetts), New York (Sherrell Aston, Dan Baker, Joseph McCarthy) and Rio de Janeiro (Ivo Pitanguy). Dr Gress gives lectures, publishes in international papers and participates actively in the most prestigious congresses world wide to maintain the highest international standard of operations and treatments in plastic surgery, the “state of art”.
After completing his medical degree at the University of Munich and practising in both the USA and Brazil, Dr. Gress underwent training in general surgery and intensive care medicine. He then specialized in plastic reconstructive surgery under the supervision of renowned plastic surgeon, Professor Edgar Biemer at the Technical University of Munich. During this time Dr. Gress concentrated on microsurgery, replantation- and hand surgery, congenital deformities, burns as well as the whole wide field of aesthetic surgery.
