Our Clinic is established to perform plastic and surgical operations specialised in aesthetic surgery, using the latest operating methods.
Introduction of Clinic
The clinic was opened in April 1996. The core of the clinic is formed by the operating theatre which fulfils the contemporary medical regulations and requirements. Although the medical centre is facilitated for a long term stay, we always try to make our patient's stay pleasant and as short as possible. In any case where it is possible from the medical point of view we offer one-day surgery.
In case of a middle serious surgical operations our patients are treated by two erudite plastic surgeons and by an experienced anaesthesiologist.
Our Clinic is the first private clinic of plastic and cosmetic surgery in Eastern Slovakia. It is established to perform plastic and surgical operations specialised in aesthetic surgery, using the latest operating methods.
Viliam Jurášek M.D.( *1958)
has been working as a plastic surgeon since 1983. Until 1996, he had worked at the Department of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Košice, firstly as a house surgeon, later as a medical assistant. He specialised in flap operations and in – born developmental abnormalities – hypospadias. In this position he accomplished as the first – a succesful microsurgical transfer of an exposed flap in order to cover post – trauma defect on the leg in 1994. He held positions in Bratislava, Brno, Stuttgart. In August 2 000 he has been awarded an expert in plastic surgery by the Slovak Chamber of Medicine. Doctor Jurášek is a member of the Slovak Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery as well as the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery ( IPRAS ). Since 1996 he has been working in the first private clinic of plastic and cosmetic surgery in Košice as its proprietor.
