Education and practice

  • Graduated in 1979 at the Faculty of General Medicine UK in Prague.

  • Since then he has been working at the department of surgery NsP at Příbram-Zdaboř (ZÚNZ Příbram in the past). First like an intern later like superior intern and Chief doctor of the aseptic department and operating theatres.

  • Since 1985 he has been occupied with vascular surgery. And since 1987 he is managing the outpatient department.

  • In the ´90 he was one of few doctors intensively concerned with laparoscopic surgery.

  • Since 2001 he is an expert, in Czech Republic, in conservative treatment of prostaglandins concerned with ischemic lower limb.

  • Diplom of 1st degree in surgery 1983

  • Diplom of 2st degree in surgery 1988

  • Diplom in vascular surgery 1994

  • Licence from Czech Medical Chamber (ČLK) in surgery and vascular surgery
