Curriculum

Dr. J. Vrbický MD has qualifications and many years practice not only in the fields of plastic and aesthetic surgery, by also in traumatology and general surgery. He worked for 13 years at surgical-traumatology departments (first in Příbram, then in Prague). He worked for three years as a surgeon and general practitioner abroad (Asia, South America). For 7 years he worked at the Plastic Surgery Clinic Medical Faculty Hospital of Královské Vinohrady in Prague. From 1989 he was chief of the Plastic Surgery Clinic in the Faculty Health Centre in Klimenská Street, Prague 1 and, at the same time, registrar for plastic surgery at the surgical-traumatology inpatient department. Since 1997 he has had his own private practice.

Dr. Jiří Vrbický has the 1st and 2nd attestations in surgery and attestation for plastic surgery. He has undertaken several study sabbaticals abroad on the theme of microsurgery, breast implants, tumescent liposuction, and others.

He is a member of the medical associations for: plastic surgery, aesthetic surgery, burn treatment, hand surgery, phlebological association and European Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He publishes in professional journals and makes rich contributions at scientific conferences.
